Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioner, Danielle Haygood, has been caring for Surgical and Pain and Spine patients since 2004. She has 20 plus years experience as a Surgical Nurse, with primary focus in Ambulatory Surgery Leadership. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville State University in 1998 and then pursued a Masters in Science in Healthcare Administration in Nursing from Loyola University New Orleans in 2012 and later completed a Post- Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate at Carson-Newman University in Jefferson City, TN in 2022. Danielle is currently certified by the AANP and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Association of Perioperative Nurses. She is currently studying to become a Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse with the American Board of Neuroscience Nursing and a Certified Headache & Concussion Specialist with the National Headache Association. She has a combined 24 years experience in Outpatient and Inpatient Surgery and Spine and Pain Management in the hospital, ASC and clinic setting. She lives in Rydal, Ga on her small farm with her husband, James and has worked in the Rome and Cartersville, GA area for over 20 years. She joined the Legacy Brain and Spine family in February 2023.
